We visited this place for the first time and the food was spot on. We ordered the catfish, potato salad, green beans, hot link, fried chicken(dark meat), cornbread, Mac & Cheese and a sugar daddy to wash it down. The food was wonderful and no left overs to bring home. Place was very clean and the people and staff were friendly. Keep up the great work, be seeing you guys soon for the Oxtails this time..

I'm from SoCal and our Soul Food is terrible!! With that said, I had the fried catfish, yams, collard greens, mac n cheese, and lemon cake. I can't speak for any other items but these were really good, I got the fish well done, it was cooked to perfection and very flavorful, I have zero critiques, the greens were good not slap ya mama good but still good, with some hot sauce they were like slap your sister good, same with the yams, I've had better, the yam sauce was a little thin and the flavor was like a generic good but still good!! The Mac n cheese had a good flavor to it, not super cheesy, maybe the could have cooked the noodles slightly less but I'm just digging for a critique with that statement, again they were good just not knock your socks off good. The lemon cake was like a quality grocery store lemon cake, wasn't mad at this either. I'm trying to give good details so while it may seem like I'm complaining I'm certainly not, this place will definitely be a must every time I come to Vegas. The service was bomb the lady was hella nice, the portions are big, it's kind of like a hole in the wall spot, but what they lack in ambiance they make up in service and flavor.

Soul Food Cafe was hitting!!! Being that I'm from the south and have been living on the west coast for the past 5 years or so, the few "soul food" restaurants I have been to went very up to par on soul food. But man oh man this was bussin bussin!!! Everything comes as a to go order but just go ahead and grab a seat so you really enjoy the masterpiece that the chef has whipped up!!! I kept trying to look and see if the chef had shoes on in the cause he had to be putting his foot in that food!!! This is now my go to spot whenever I'm in Vegas!!!

local spot, a couple mins away from my house. I wanted some good fried chicken Service: very mom and pop shop feel. I felt this place has a family feel. I appreciate the lady seperate everything so the food doesn't get soggy when i came to pick it up. Plenty of parking. food: i go the fried chicken with mac and cheese, and greens. It combo comes with cornbread. (thats fire.) The chicken was plenty for one person. I would come back here. Next time i want to eat it hot and dine in.
